Apogee Center is Looking For…

One Administrative Assistant to provide administrative support to Apogee Center Director and staff. Duties include maintaining mailing database, purchasing, answering calls, and coordinating the Center’s social media presence. The Administrative Assistant will assist walk-ins in a professional and welcoming manner, assist in the maintenance of the Community Participation Opportunity Database, attend all scheduled supervision meetings, complete all training requirements as director by the Center and maintain the confidentiality of recipients of service.
Qualified candidate should be a self-starter who works independently in the community and maintains professional relationships with staff, providers, and recipients, should possess effective verbal, written, and electronic communication skills, with excellent computer skills in Word, Excel, Publisher, and Facebook. Candidates should have a knowledge and understanding of mental health recovery and should be a current or former recipient of mental health services who is comfortable disclosing their own recovery path as part of their work. Must be 18 years of age and a resident of Columbia County with a working telephone number, clean driving record, and reliable transportation. This position is for 12 hours, part time, Monday through Thursday 9 am – 12 pm.

Two Community Specialists who will interact with recipients by sharing common experiences while connecting them with community resources, and fostering their path to recovery. Activities include face-to-face support, telephone support, goal planning, and assistance in obtaining and maintaining vital services. Qualified candidate should be a self-starter who works independently in the community and maintains professional relationships with staff, providers, and recipients, should possess effective verbal, written, and electronic communication skills. Candidates should have a knowledge and understanding of mental health recovery and should be a current or former recipient of mental health services who is comfortable disclosing their own recovery path as part of their work. Must be 18 years of age and a resident of Columbia County with a working telephone number, clean driving record, and reliable transportation. This position is part time, 15 hours weekly.
Duties of the position to include meeting with individuals who are pursuing mental health recovery for the purpose of supporting their recovery and helping identify their “passion for life”. Accompany recipients of services to community participation opportunities, facilitate peer led support groups, accurately record services delivered to recipients, complete reporting documents and submit to the Apogee Center Director, attend all scheduled supervision meetings, complete all training requirements as directed by the Center, and maintain confidentiality of recipients of service.
